I’m exhibiting lots of my paintings at Shrewsbury's new boutique hotel The Silverton in Frankwell. Owned by my regular exhibitors Frank Café Bar, this cool hangout boasts a marvelous front bar and restaurant area, where my paintings will be on show through to the new year.

The last few months of 2011 saw my abstract painting output dwindle to almost nothing, as real life seemed to take over. I have been keping myself active with the life drawing group, however.

Shortly, I will be removing the life drawing section of this website's gallery area as I feel it sort of dilutes the main thrust of what I'm trying to put across here, really. For those interested in following the works from my latest sessions there is now a Flickr profile taking shape.

As I type there are three new abstract pieces well on their way, which before long should be appearing on this site. No titles for any of them yet, but expect two big ruddy looking canvases (both of which are also ruddy big, too !) and a smaller metallic gold thing!

Painting on abstract themes continues, but also - just to keep my hand in, I've been attending life drawing sessions, recently. A new sub section of my gallery can now be reached from the relevant button on the gallery page.

Obviously, I prefer potential buyers to see my paintings face to face, rather than the reduced JPEGs on their monitors as they visit these pages - Afterall, I have no idea how accurately somebody's monitor is set to recreate colour images. I prefer them to feel comfortable with their choice.
