Freefall Fireball A large, lively, bold canvas of firey dayglos and jarring hot colours, set against a strong, solid blue ground. As usual, this started out intended as something far different from what it became. I began this painting as something calming, evocing a rather placid summer - but soon a more frenetic kinetic dynamic took over. Scraped and splashed colours lending an impression of movement, heat and urgency.
