Schizophrenic
Acrylics on canvas 900 x 900mm.

Wild sessions of working with palette knife and by dripping paint into large puddles of water across the canvas surface allowed colours to run into each other. Once dried these became waterproof and impervious to further watery experiments. Then sessions continued with paints mixed with varnish. Layer upon layer built up giving a glazed and enamelled appearance - before a gooey gloss was dribbled onto the deep crimson result.
